Practice Mindfulness by Focusing on Your Breath:

 

During these uncertain times, it is very easy to get carried away in our thoughts and feelings. Our minds may be going in a million different directions, but focusing on our breathing can help us become more present, grounded and less stressed. Now is a great time to begin your journey to well-being.

Don’t know where to start? Try practicing mindfulness and meditation. Follow these few simple steps that will help you relax and slow down your breathing pace.

 

 
1. Sit Comfortably

2. Inhale 4 counts, filling your lungs and belly (try placing one hand on your chest and one on your belly to help you focus on the physicality of breathing)

3. Hold the inhale for 2 counts, then exhale for 4 counts (each full breath will take 10 seconds total)

4. Repeat this process 6 times as you relax and calm your mind with these slow, deep breaths

Practice mindfulness when you wake up in the morning or during your walk outside. Discover what works best for you and go with it! Incorporating breathing exercises into your daily routine can result in a boosted well-being, better sleep, less anxiety and reduced blood pressure!

Just remember, when you feel your thoughts spiraling, take it back to your breath.

Make your self-pampering journey easier than ever by bringing the spa treatment right into your home. Follow the simple steps below and you’ll be exfoliating with this fabulous smelling, natural scrub in no time. Clean, soft, silky skin is within reach. Ingredients Needed:

2 Tablespoons of brown sugar - This natural exfoliator clears away dry and dead skin cells leaving you radiant and glowing (thanks to its anti-bacterial properties and glycolic acid).

 

3 Tablespoons of honey - Full of natural antioxidants, honey is great for keeping the skin feeling young and hydrated. Plus, its antiseptic and antibacterial properties help open and cleanse your pores and will moisturize your skin deeply.

 

 

Instructions:

 

1. Wash your hands thoroughly and sanitize

2. Add sugar & honey into bowl

3. Mix thoroughly until a paste forms

4. Spread evenly on hands and gently rub into skin slowly

5. Remove with a warm towel

Store your remaining scrub in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks for some extra doses of relaxation and rejuvenation!
